Tips to avoid diet related diseases

diet related diseases

In today’s world, it’s very important to follow healthy eating habits to stay free from health disorders. People are too busy these days. They eat whatever is easily available. As a result, lifestyle related health disorders have become a common concern. To be on the safer side, you need to follow a balanced diet plan and fix a timetable to eat your meals. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and you should never miss it. According to dieticians, you need to take your breakfast within 2 hours from the time you wake up.  Breakfast at the right time can keep your insulin level under control, which in turn can keep your blood sugar in control. Include fresh fruits, whole grain, cereals and low fat milk in your first meal to stay energetic for the whole day.

You should eat a wide variety of food items to stay healthy.  Your meals should include all sufficient nutrients and minerals. If you are not sure about what food items to include in your diet plan, it’s always better to consult a dietician. Along with proper meals, fluid intake is also important for good health. You should drink more than 2 liters of water to stay healthy.  Sufficient supply of water does not just keep you hydrated but also flushes out the toxins from your body. This in turn strengthens your metabolism.  However, do not drink too much of water while you are taking your meals because that could lead to poor digestion.  Drink water after 30 minutes of your meal to improve the efficiency of your digestion system.

You should stay away from fried food items, especially if you have excess body weight.  Saturated fat present in the fried food items can rapidly increase your body weight and invite chronic diseases like type 2 diabetics, cardiovascular diseases etc.

In our later posts, we will discuss about few workouts that you can do at home to stay fit.
